Bowman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stephens tries to counter with a takedown but Bowman is quick to defend against it.
Stephens tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bowman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stephens somewhat.
Bowman is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Bowman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bowman wants it to stay on the feet.

Stephens fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bowman sprawls well initially but Stephens persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
