Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark McMullet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Caine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McMullet comes into the arena with Never by Heart blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Caine! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caine fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Caine closes this distance looking for a takedown but McMullet circles away. McMullet throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Caine. Caine with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McMullet to score with a decent uppercut. McMullet throws a body kick that misses. McMullet looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. McMullet lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. McMullet is looking to chop away at Caine's legs. McMullet throws a front kick that sends Caine stumbling back into the cage. McMullet keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Mark McMullet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Caine. McMullet throws a sloppy head kick and Caine moves out of range easily. No joy there for McMullet, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Caine fails to land the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caine darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Caine looks gassed! Caine frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Caine prevents McMullet from getting the reversal. Caine controlling his opponent. Caine wants to control the pace but McMullet is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McMullet wants to control but Caine is having none of it. McMullet tries to reverse the position but Caine maintains control. McMullet is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Caine has taken his back.
Caine is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caine controlling the position well here. McMullet rolled but Caine kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

McMullet tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Caine trying to control but McMullet is having none of it. McMullet bucks up and throws Caine to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! McMullet misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

McMullet fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Caine. McMullet chopping away at his opponent's legs.

McMullet throws a right and a left that Caine avoids nicely. McMullet jabs Caine right on the nose. Caine blinks but takes it well. McMullet lands with a shot to the body. McMullet throws a front kick that sends Caine stumbling back into the cage. McMullet lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. McMullet looks for the body kick but Caine saw that one coming. A head kick misses from McMullet. McMullet lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. McMullet thows a body kick. Caine tries to catch it but that hurt him. McMullet throws a right and a left that both miss. Mark McMullet is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. McMullet lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Caine changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McMullet tries to avoid it but Caine manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McMullet to the ground. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. McMullet scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Caine's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Caine takes a kick to the side of the head. McMullet lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Caine backs up against the cage.

McMullet throws a nice looking combination but Caine bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. McMullet moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. McMullet tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Caine moves out of range of the body kick from McMullet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Caine slips a jab and a cross from McMullet.

And that's the end of the fight! Mark McMullet showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for McMullet, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
