Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Julius Biacolo and Michael Blake. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Blake misses with a takedown attempt and Biacolo counters by clinching up. Biacolo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Blake pulls him back up using the underhooks. Biacolo lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Blake has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Demon's Progym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Biacolo is looking for a kimura but Blake is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Biacolo to get the leverage. Biacolo is keen to just control but Blake is a slippery customer. Biacolo prevents Blake from improving his position. Blake won't allow Biacolo to pass to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blake is pressing down on Biacolo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Biacolo trying to control but Blake is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Biacolo looking to pass the guard. Biacolo pushes down on Blake's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Biacolo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Blake sees it coming and defends easily. Biacolo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Blake has managed to free his arm - good work. We've been hearing good reports from Biacolo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Biacolo working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Blake's thigh. Blake counters though and makes it back to full guard. Blake is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Biacolo has his hands clasped together but Blake extends and breaks Biacolo's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Blake.
