The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Howard fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jitz to the ground. Howard is now in Jitz's guard.
Howard has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Howard in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Howard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jitz on the ground.
Jitz has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Howard should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Jitz has tightened it up now! Howard should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
