Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Diego Aragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Il Sung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Il Sung is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Death in Vegas- Dirt. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aragon connects with a body shot that sends Il Sung's belly button to the back. Il Sung tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Aragon throws out a leg kick but Il Sung moves out of range and Aragon only half commits. Il Sung is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Aragon throws a shot from downtown. Il Sung moves away and avoids it. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Aragon - that will leave a mark!
Il Sung takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Aragon moves away from the strike by Il Sung. Il Sung checks a low kick from Aragon. Aragon throws a sloppy head kick and Il Sung decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Aragon's guard. Aragon has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Il Sung is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Il Sung has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Il Sung tries for a takedown. No joy.

Aragon wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Il Sung has him pressed against the cage. Il Sung gets control of Aragon's arms and successfully pulls guard. Il Sung will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Il Sung looking for a sweep. Not yet Il Sung, not yet. Il Sung trying to keep a closed guard but Aragon is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round. Il Sung controls Aragon momentarily but Aragon frees himself. Il Sung wants to sweep but no luck. Il Sung looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Il Sung has a closed guard, preventing Aragon from standing up. Il Sung trying to control the position.
Aragon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Aragon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Il Sung is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Aragon working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Aragon scoring with some ground and pound. Il Sung lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Il Sung advances position into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Il Sung tries to advance to mount but Aragon denies him. Il Sung prevents Aragon from escaping the position. Il Sung in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Il Sung tries for a kimura but Aragon is defending well. Aragon is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Il Sung asserts his dominance and retains side control. Il Sung landing strikes. Aragon is trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Il Sung goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Aragon rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Il Sung's guard! Nice work there by Aragon! Aragon postures up.
Aragon wants to get up but he can't break Il Sung's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Aragon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Il Sung works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Il Sung looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Il Sung has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Aragon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Aragon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Il Sung's head. Aragon controls from within his opponent's guard. Aragon trying to stand up but can't free himself from Il Sung's guard. Aragon cracks Il Sung with a solid left hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aragon is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Il Sung has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Aragon is looking to defend but Il Sung has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Aragon! Il Sung pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Aragon taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Kim Il Sung! A relieved looking Kim Il Sung thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. Diego Aragon was interviewed post fight and said 'That sucked! '.
