Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vito Belto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Godking Diamond!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belto misses with a double jab
and Diamond counters by clinching up.
Belto drags the fight down to the ground.
Belto looking for a guillotine here but Diamond defends easily.
Diamond looking to pass the guard.
Belto throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Diamond chips away with some ground and pound.
Belto looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diamond keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Belto's head.
Diamond looking to pass the guard.
Diamond must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Diamond got a little sloppy there for a moment and Belto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Diamond has managed to get both his arms back between Belto's legs - danger averted.
Belto is breathing heavily.
Diamond postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Diamond's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
It looks like Vito Belto has been cut.
Diamond advances to half guard.
Diamond really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Diamond seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Belto does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Diamond seems to be working for a kimura but Belto defends the submission attempt.
Diamond seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Diamond takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Belto is staying active underneath Diamond, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Diamond is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Belto doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Diamond.
Diamond is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Belto is refusing to be controlled, as Diamond sits in half guard.
Belto is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Diamond is nestled in close to Belto, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Diamond is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Diamond working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Belto's head.
Diamond postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Diamond is working Belto over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Diamond passes Belto's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Diamond tries to pass to full mount but Belto defends it.
Belto is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Diamond connects with a nice short shot to Belto's temple.
Belto is not content to let Diamond control the position.
Diamond moves nicely into side control.
Diamond is working to tighten his grip on Belto's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Belto has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Diamond is really squeezing tight and eventually Belto passes out! Diamond breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Vito Belto was interviewed post fight and said 'I have no excuse I lost.'.
