Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bach Schtrappe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schtrappe comes to the cage accompanied by Phobia by Kreator. Tony Hendricks struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks shoots in and drives through. Schtrappe sprawls well.
Hendricks wants to clinch but Schtrappe slips to the side
and Schtrappe cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Schtrappe connects with a leg kick. Hendricks looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Schtrappe misses with a straight right.
We've been informed that Hendricks has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Hendricks explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Schtrappe takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schtrappe takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Schtrappe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hendricks manages to avoid it.
Hendricks shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Schtrappe but Schtrappe pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hendricks throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Schtrappe is looking to counter with a body kick.
Hendricks is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Schtrappe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hendricks.
As Hendricks backs away, Schtrappe returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Schtrappe moves out of range of the leg kick from Hendricks.
Hendricks rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Schtrappe counters with a straight right hand.
A nice combination there by Schtrappe.
Schtrappe ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Schtrappe appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Schtrappe misses with a leg kick.
Hendricks throws a sloppy head kick
and Schtrappe counters with a nice body kick.
A shot to the body from Hendricks misses
and Schtrappe counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Schtrappe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hendricks has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A little feinted left hand from Schtrappe on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hendricks checks a leg kick.
Schtrappe lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Hendricks walks into a jab.
Schtrappe fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hendricks, pushing him back against the cage.

Hendricks tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bach Schtrappe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Hendricks.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hendricks pushes off an throws an elbow but Schtrappe leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Schtrappe thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hendricks if he has to take too many more of those.

Bach Schtrappe really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Fury Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
