The bell rings for round one and we are underway! O'Neil throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Cole feints the counter takedown. O'Neil misses with a hook
and Cole counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. O'Neil paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. O'Neil lands a jab to the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from O'Neil. Cole does a little dance to reset his feet. Cole changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. A looping hook to the body misses from Cole. O'Neil does a little dance to reset his feet. O'Neil throws a lazy uppercut

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cole moves away from the strike by O'Neil. O'Neil gets tackled into the cage by Cole. Cole maintains the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cole. A hook to the body from Cole.
