Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johan Axelsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Zepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zepp has chosen Boom! Shake The Room as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

41 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Zepp! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A chopping leg kick lands by Zepp. Zepp scores with a hook to the body. Axelsson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Johan Axelsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Axelsson misses with a body shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zepp throws a series of punches but Axelsson moves out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zepp tries to land a sweep but no joy. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Zepp's corner calls for a 1-2. Zepp obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Axelsson throws a hook but Zepp avoids it easily. Axelsson looks to score with a jab to the body but Zepp is just out of range. Zepp was covering up waiting for the punch and Axelsson finishes the takedown easily into guard. Axelsson's corner is telling him to maintain position. Zepp keeping full guard, as Axelsson tries to pass. Axelsson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Axelsson trying to control the position from guard on top but Zepp is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Zepp wants to sweep here but Axelsson controlling him for the moment.
