Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Duane Perry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Igor Quincy! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perry stalks Quincy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Quincy's face. Quincy staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Igor Quincy has been cut. Perry scores with a decent looking hook. Quincy throws a looping overhand right but Perry ducks down to avoid it. Perry tries to counter with a takedown but Quincy is quick to defend against it. Quincy misses with a right hand and Perry counters with a lovely straight right hand! Quincy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Perry was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Quincy thows a leg kick but Perry checks it and Perry counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Perry. Quincy being controlled here, momentarily. Quincy is controlling Perry's posture. Quincy wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Perry manages to pass to side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Perry is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Perry throwing shots but Quincy is blocking nicely. Quincy has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Perry wants to stand up but Quincy has a hold of him and won't allow it. Perry sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Quincy defending well though. Perry will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Perry wants to pass the guard but Quincy is defending well. Perry is controlling the pace.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Perry throws a right and a left that Quincy avoids nicely. Perry cracks Quincy with a right hand to the side of the head. Perry misses the jab. Quincy tries to bum rush Perry with a series of wild strikes but Perry uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A quick step to the side and Perry tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Quincy is looking to score with low kicks. Perry tries to land a leg kick but Quincy saw it coming and moves away.
Perry swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Quincy looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Quincy lands a nice looking body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perry bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Igor Quincy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Quincy misses with a lunging right hand
and Perry counters with a nice leg kick. Quincy takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Quincy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Perry. Quincy throws a big shot that misses. Quincy throws a right hand that misses
and Perry counters with a leg kick. Quincy throws a leg kick that misses. Quincy is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Quincy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Quincy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Perry sees it coming and avoids it easily. Perry moves into the clinch. Perry doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Quincy prevents a body shot from Perry. Quincy swings away with an uppercut that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice right hand lands inside from Perry. Perry is stalling here.
Quincy is trying to push Perry away but Perry has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Quincy manages to break the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Quincy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Perry manages to avoid it. Perry throws a big counter combination but Quincy scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Perry looks to land a right hand but Quincy moved out of range. Quincy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Perry throws out the jab. Quincy throws a shot from downtown. Perry moves away and avoids it. Quincy waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Perry. Quincy looks to score with a jab to the body but Perry is just out of range. Quincy gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Perry lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. A thudding body kick lands there by Perry!
Perry motions for Quincy to come forward. Perry throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Duane Perry dominated that round. The cut man is working on Igor Quincy's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Quincy misses the body punch and Perry counters with a lovely straight right hand! Good leg kick by Quincy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A looping hook to the body misses from Quincy. Perry does a little dance to reset his feet. Perry ducks under a wild hook from Quincy. Perry wants to slow Quincy down by chopping away at his legs. Perry slips a jab and a cross from Quincy.
A good leg kick by Perry. Perry scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perry scores with a jab to the body. Perry tried to score with a low kick but Quincy checks it. Quincy throws out a counter right but Perry avoids it with no problem. Quincy throws a lazy uppercut
and Perry counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Quincy throws a low kick but Perry avoids it.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Perry scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Quincy doesn't seem bothered though. Perry scores with a sloppy right hand. Quincy should have avoided that one. Quincy scores with a nice strike. Perry is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Perry buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Perry clinches up against the cage. Perry is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Quincy can do to turn this around? Perry lands with a left to the head. Quincy blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Quincy working aggressively here.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Quincy. Perry lands a hook that snaps the head of Quincy backwards. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Perry misses with an elbow strike.
Perry lands a nice shot to the body. Quincy has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Perry lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A big left from Perry misses. Quincy looks to land a right hand but Perry moved out of range. It looked like Perry wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Quincy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Perry. Quincy throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Perry slips under a jab from Quincy. Quincy scores with a nice strike.

Perry checks a low kick from Quincy. Quincy lands with a shot to the body. Perry moves out of range of the strikes. A punch lands to the side of Quincy 's head but he takes it in his stride. Quincy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Perry circles away quickly and effectively. Quincy looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Quincy misses with an uppercut. Perry saw that one coming. Perry appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Quincy throws a hook but Perry avoids it easily. Quincy gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Perry.

That has opened up Igor Quincy's cut even more. Perry swings away with a leg kick that misses. Quincy is still on wobbly legs! Can Perry finish him? A cross from Perry lands. Perry throws a jab when Quincy was well out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Quincy misses with a straight right. Quincy seems to have recovered his senses. Quincy thows a left - swing and a miss! Perry has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Perry there as he acknowledges the shot. Perry takes one to the side of the head.
Perry slips a jab from Quincy. Perry feinted there with a counter leg kick. Quincy misses with an uppercut. Perry saw that one coming. Perry is looking to counter with a body kick. Quincy misses the body punch and Perry counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Perry with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Quincy to score with a decent uppercut. Quincy throws a big shot that misses. It looked like Perry wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Quincy misses with an uppercut. Perry saw that one coming. Perry swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Quincy misses with a lunging right hand

Perry appears to be looking for a big counter. Duane Perry is winning the standup battle so far. Perry lands a jab to the nose. Quincy lands a jab to the head.

Perry rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quincy moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Perry with a body punch. A glancing blow. Perry throws a right hand that Quincy ducks under and follows up with a left that Quincy also avoids with ease. Perry moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Quincy takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Perry has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
That's one minute gone in the round. That kick from Perry tenderised Quincy's leg. Quincy is trying to keep his angry face on. Quincy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Perrys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Quincy throws a head kick that misses. Quincy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Perry moves out of range of the strikes. A low kick from Quincy misses and Perry counters with a leg kick. Quincy misses with a left hand and Perry counters with a three punch combo that has Quincy backing up. Quincy nods at Perry to acknowledge the strikes. Quincy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Perry throwing a counter right hand but Quincy manages to avoid it. Quincy throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Quincy throws a body shot but no joy. Perry throws a front kick that sends Quincy stumbling back into the cage. Quincy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Quincy takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Perry clinches up with Quincy and pushes him back against the cage. Igor Quincy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Perry lands with a right to the head. Perry pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Quincy has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Perry. Perry scores with a jab. Perry drops Quincy with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Quincy looks back up at him and smiles so Perry waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Perry circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Quincy to the canvas! Quincy doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Perry keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Duane Perry! Duane Perry looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'ROTFLMAO did you really think you could beat me? LOL hAhahahahah. STFU noob.'.
