Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kwincy Wong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bob Wakosky!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wong has Wakosky up against the cage in a clinch.
Wong is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Wakosky is trying to pull guard but Wong has him pressed against the cage.
Wong displaying some good clinch control by pressing Wakosky up against the cage.
Wakosky blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Wong is struggling to control the position.
Wong misses with an elbow strike.

Wakosky breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wong darts in trying to clinch
and Wakosky makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Wakosky works Wong's body with a nice hook.
Wong tries to clinch up.
Wakosky wants to counter the offense by Wong and move into the clinch position.

Wakosky looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Wong!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wakosky stands up and beckons Wong to his feet.

Wong closes the distance and clinches.
Wong lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Come on Wong - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Wakosky on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Wong content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Wakosky lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Wakosky breaks from the clinch.
Wong is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wakosky looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wakosky lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wakosky dives in for a single leg takedown but Wong sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kwincy Wong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Wakosky.
Wakosky connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wong. Wong circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Wong wants to clinch but Wakosky slips to the side
and Wakosky counters with a nice body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wakosky displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Wong wants to clinch up but Wakosky keeps it at a distance.
Wakosky pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wong back to the cage. Wakosky follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wong tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wakosky looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
No luck for Wakosky with that takedown attempt.
Wong tries to clinch but Wakosky is having none of it.
Wakosky feints a jab promting Wong to slip. Wakosky then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wong slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Wakosky scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Wakosky keeps the fight on the outside.
Wong takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Oh Wong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wakosky wobbles Wong with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Wakosky dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Wong to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bob Wakosky!
Kwincy Wong was interviewed post fight and said 'hes got lucky'.
