Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Loyd Blackwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loyd Blackwell has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Loyd Blackwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bob Bear! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Blackwell was covering up waiting for the punch and Bear finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bear works a leg free and moves into half guard. Blackwell is trying to stand back up but Bear is controlling him
Blackwell makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Blackwell. Bear slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bear in side control, throwing shots but Blackwell defends. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bear in side control, throwing shots but Blackwell defends. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blackwell trying to remain calm as Bear controls from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blackwell really is a fat lump. Bear throws an elbow but Blackwell slips to the side and avoids it well. Bear controls the position. Bear's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Bear tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bear decides to stand up, so the ref orders Blackwell to his feet. Bear looks to land a body kick but Blackwell moved away. Bear fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Blackwell, pushing him back against the cage. Bear gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Bear throwing strikes but missing. Bear decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Bob Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bear has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blackwell is trying to pull guard but Bear turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Bear tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Blackwell prevents Bear from breaking the clinch. Bear wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Blackwell tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bear smiles and moves away.
Bear closes the distance and pushes Blackwell back into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Blackwell jumps guard.
Bear works a leg free and moves into half guard. Bear stands up out of the half guard. Blackwell is breathing heavily. Blackwell tries to keep at a distance but Bear has taken the fight into the clinch. Blackwell prevents Bear from breaking the clinch. Bear has clasped his hands together around Blackwell's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Blackwell throws Bear to one side and escapes! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bear bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Blackwell wants to get back to his feet but Bear is dominant here and he's now got Blackwell's back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Bear dominated that round. The cut man is working on Loyd Blackwell's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Nice sprawl there from Bear as Blackwell shoots in. Bear shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Bear is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Blackwell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bear stands up and waves to Blackwell to follow him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bear takes a swing at Blackwell's ribcage but misses. Blackwell changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Bear lands with a right hand. Bear shoots in and gets a takedown into Blackwell's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bear pushes down on Blackwell's leg and manages to get into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bear keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Bear frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Blackwell holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Bear tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Blackwell really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Bear stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Bear has closed the distance and engaged Blackwell in a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear pulls Blackwell into guard.
Bob Bear has got the better of the ground game so far. Bear has Blackwell pulled in close to control his posture. Bear will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Bear bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Blackwell's guard. Bear passes easily into side control. Nice work. Bear sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Blackwell is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bear working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sloppy strikes there by Bear. Blackwell is being controlled here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bear works to advance to full mount. Blackwell defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Bear showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Loyd Blackwell's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Bear closes the distance and clinches. Bear has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Bear has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Blackwell is trying to keep an underhook but Bear manages to get the takedown into half guard. Blackwell kicks Bear off and gets back to his feet. Bear clinches up with Blackwell and pushes him back against the cage. Bear has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bear gets through Blackwell's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Bear is looking to break free of the clinch but Blackwell has double underhooks. Bear is struggling to control the position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bear has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Blackwell uses from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blackwell trying to control but Bear is working from the bottom. Bear looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bear has his foot on Blackwell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Blackwell works his way back into a safe position though. Bear looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bear looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Blackwell puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Bear wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Blackwell content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Bear is looking to control Blackwell's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bear avoid being mounted? Blackwell is trying to control the action in half guard but Bear is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Bear drives through with a takedown into Blackwell's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Blackwell is looking for a triangle here but Bear uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear taking a breather here. Bear creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Blackwell sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Bear content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bear tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bear has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bear taking a breather here.
And that's the end of the fight! Bob Bear comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bear has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
