Marfil has chosen New Divide as his entrance music. Jienaro Marfil is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rickson Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jienaro Marfil! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marfil misses with a body shot.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie. Gracie avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Marfil keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gracie has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rickson Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie shoots in and bounces Marfil off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Gracie trying to control but Marfil is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marfil keeping full guard, as Gracie tries to pass. Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Marfil is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Marfil looking to pass the guard. Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Marfil is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold. Gracie is keen to just control but Marfil is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Gracie is looking to advance position but Marfil won't allow it. Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Gracie is working for a kimura but Marfil is defending it quite comfortably.
Gracie throwing shots but Marfil is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie is pressing down on Marfil's thigh, looking to free his foot. Marfil is holding on for now. Marfil really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gracie seems to be looking for submissions.
Marfil is not content to let Gracie control the position. Marfil is trying to control but Gracie manages to pass to mount!
Gracie unloads with some shots from mount but Marfil bucks and avoids them well.
Gracie is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Marfil has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Marfil wants to hold on but Gracie pushes him away. Gracie is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Gracie!
