Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kermit Earlandson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Earlandson comes to the cage accompanied by the theme from titanic. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Little! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Earlandson dives in and grabs Little's left leg, looking for a takedown. Little pushes down on Earlandson's head and hops out. We've been informed that Little has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Earlandson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kermit Earlandson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Earlandson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Little on his heels. He'll look to pass Little's guard now, I'm sure. Little has his feet on Earlandson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. This has been an exciting period of action! A combination from Little does no damage. Little displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Earlandson. Kermit Earlandson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Earlandson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That's one minute gone in the round. Earlandson goes for a double leg but Little avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Little continues to drive forward. He's got his arms around Little's waist but Little gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Earlandson off to one side. Little looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Earlandson shoots and misses and Little counters with a series of strikes. Earlandson will be more careful next time no doubt. Little lands with a nice body punch. Little scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Earlandson doesn't seem bothered though. Earlandson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

This has been an exciting period of action! Earlandson takes one to the chin there. Earlandson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Little circles away. A little jabbing left from Little on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Little connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Earlandson to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Little!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Roger Little! Roger Little tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
