Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Dux has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frank Dux! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mick Carter! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dux lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Dux throws a leg kick which misses Carter's front leg but catches the back leg as Carter tries to avoid it. Dux has managed to clinch.
Dux breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Carter closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Carter seems to be working for a kimura but Dux defends the submission attempt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carter throwing shots but Dux is blocking nicely. Dux avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Carter. Dux keeps control of the position for the meantime. Well, if Carter is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Carter trying to control from half guard but Dux is working away. Carter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter not landing any meaningful shots this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dux is not content to let Carter control the position. Carter seems to be working for a kimura but Dux defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter slows the pace down in half guard. Carter is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Carter is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Carter sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dux defending well though. Dux knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carter on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dux has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Carter is working away from the top position though. Carter is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Carter is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dux defends it well. Carter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dux is just riding it out for now. Carter eventually gives up the hold. Dux is not content to let Carter control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dux is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Carter is working for a kimura but Dux is defending it quite comfortably.
Carter is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dux is trying to stand up here but Carter is controlling him well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mick Carter dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Dux has managed to clinch.
Dux prevents a takedown attempt there.
Dux scores with a knee to the head.
Carter wants to get back to striking at distance but Dux won't allow it.
Dux gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Dux pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dux lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dux lunges at Carter with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Carter's hand. Dux closes the distance and clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Dux as Carter tries to tie him up. Dux lands a shoulder strike. Knees to the body from Dux.
Dux manages to break the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dux moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Dux breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Carter drives through with a takedown into Dux's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Carter is breathing heavily. Dux throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Carter prevents Dux from getting back to his feet. Dux looking for a sweep. Not yet Dux, not yet. Dux trying to control the position.
Dux preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dux trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Carter forces his way into half guard. Dux wants to get back to full guard. Mick Carter has got the better of the ground game so far. Carter missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Carter moves nicely into side control. Carter has hold of Dux's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dux seems comfortable defending it but Carter has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dux is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dux is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Carter couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mick Carter!
