The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindeberg doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Skatias counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
A jab from Skatias does it's job there.
Lindeberg shoots and misses
enabling Skatias to counter with a crisp jab.
Skatias has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Lindeberg's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Lindeberg has picked Skatias up - he's going for a ride! Lindeberg dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Skatias is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lindeberg can't fight it off and eventually Skatias manages to take the fight to the floor. Lindeberg looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
