Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vaughn Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aekman Yellowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vaughn Ellis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aekman Yellowman! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ellis has his takedown stuffed and Ellis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Vaughn Ellis has been cut. Ellis blocks a head kick by Yellowman.
Ellis looks for a takedown but Yellowman sprawls well. Yellowman darts in and clinches Ellis up against the cage. Ellis tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vaughn Ellis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ellis tries to pull guard but Yellowman holds him up against the cage and eventually Ellis drops back down to his feet.

Ellis really is a fat lump. Yellowman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ellis shoots in and gets a takedown into Yellowman's guard. Yellowman pushes Ellis off and scrambles back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ellis looks for a takedown but Yellowman sprawls well. Yellowman throws a solid leg kick but Ellis takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Yellowman. Aekman Yellowman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ellis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yellowman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ellis somewhat. Yellowman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ellis, pushing him back against the cage. Ellis is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Yellowman to keep the fight standing. Yellowman manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ellis chips away with some ground and pound. Yellowman pushes Ellis off and gets back to his feet.
Ellis fails with the takedown. Ellis shoots in and drives through. Yellowman sprawls well. Yellowman is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Ellis is breathing heavily. Yellowman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ellis did well to prevent Yellowman getting side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yellowman controlling the action here. Yellowman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ellis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Ellis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Yellowman to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ellis throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Yellowman escapes and throws Ellis's legs to the side, diving into side control! Yellowman tries for a kimura but Ellis is defending well. Yellowman is staying tight to Ellis's torso, preventing him from escaping. Ellis tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Yellowman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aekman Yellowman dominated that round. The cut man is working on Vaughn Ellis's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ellis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Yellowman trying to control but Ellis is working from the bottom. Ellis throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Yellowman. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Yellowman throwing strikes from guard but Ellis blocks nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yellowman looking to sit in guard and control but Ellis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Yellowman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ellis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Yellowman trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yellowman wants to sweep but no luck. Ellis postures up in Yellowman's guard and throws a big left but Yellowman blocks it. Yellowman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ellis is one step ahead there. Yellowman is trying to control the position but Ellis postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ellis trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Yellowman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Yellowman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Yellowman is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ellis is working Yellowman over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Yellowman seems keen to control Ellis's posture. Ellis postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Yellowman tries to land a sweep but no joy. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Yellowman controls Ellis momentarily but Ellis frees himself.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ellis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Yellowman throws a head kick that misses. Ellis attempts a counter takedown but Yellowman avoids it well and moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yellowman gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Yellowman gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ellis.
Ellis jumps guard but Yellowman stands there with Ellis around his waist. Ellis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ellis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Yellowman works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Yellowman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Yellowman trying to control the position.
Ellis is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Ellis is in close to Yellowman's body, working some short punches and elbows. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ellis's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Yellowman trying to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ellis throwing strikes but missing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Vaughn Ellis will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Vaughn Ellis's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Aekman Yellowman has got the better of the ground game so far. Yellowman stands up and waves to Ellis to follow him. Yellowman throws a right and a left that Ellis avoids nicely. Ellis throwing a counter right hand but Yellowman manages to avoid it. Yellowman moves into range and connects with a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ellis gets tackled into the cage by Yellowman. Yellowman maintains the clinch. Yellowman tries a knee to the head but Ellis blocks it.
Ellis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Yellowman walks away with a smile on his face. Ellis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Aekman Yellowman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Yellowman throws a combination. Ellis tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
That's one minute gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Ellis. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Yellowman is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Ellis decides to stand and escape the position. Yellowman throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Yellowman closes the distance and clinches. Yellowman ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Yellowman no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Yellowman is pulling down on Ellis's head. It's preventing any offense from Ellis, at least for the moment. Yellowman looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Ellis kicks Yellowman off and gets to his feet. Ellis avoids the body shot from Yellowman.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yellowman scores with the left hand. Ellis knows he should have avoided that one. Yellowman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ellis's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yellowman forces his way into half guard. Ellis keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Yellowman wants to control but Ellis is keeping him busy. Ellis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The fighters are battling for position here. Ellis manages to regain full guard. Nice work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ellis is on top in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Aekman Yellowman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Yellowman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
