The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia wants to clinch.
Williams misses with a head kick.
Garcia fails with the takedown.
Sloppy strikes from Williams. Those never looked like landing.
Williams looking to score a takedown here. Garcia is defending well but Williams drives through and ends up in Garcia's guard.
Garcia has his feet on Williams's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Garcia lands with a nice body kick.
Garcia tries to land a front kick but Williams steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Garcia gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Garcia is looking to cinch up a triangle. Williams throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Garcia's body to avoid the submission. Garcia has instead reached around Williams's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Garcia arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
