Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gale Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raiymbek Batyr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gale Gold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Raiymbek Batyr!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batyr shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gold as he avoids it easily.
Gold was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Gold tries a head kick but it misses.
Batyr closes the distance and clinches up with Gold, looking for a takedown. Batyr pushes Gold against the cage but Gold circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gold moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Batyr closes the distance and clinches.
A head punch on the inside from Gold fails to land.
Gold pushes Batyr back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Gold breaks from the clinch.
Raiymbek Batyr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Batyr tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gold manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Batyr goes for a double leg but Gold avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gold continues to drive forward.
Gold looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gale Gold has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raiymbek Batyr.
Batyr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gold as he jumps to the side.
Gold lands a slapping body shot.
Gold turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gold.
Batyr scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Batyr maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Gold could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Batyr has cracked it and Gold is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Batyr!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Raiymbek Batyr!
A very excited looking Raiymbek Batyr rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
