Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Hodges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Krupin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeff Hodges! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fedor Krupin! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krupin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Krupin is looking to pass into half guard but Hodges pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Hodges is in guard.
Krupin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hodges can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hodges preventing the sweep. Krupin seems keen to control Hodges's posture. Krupin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hodges wants to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krupin controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Krupin might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Krupin prevents Hodges from standing back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Krupin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Krupin is continuing to stall. Hodges tries to hold on but Krupin pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hodges tries to reverse the position but Krupin maintains control. Krupin controlling from the full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hodges could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Krupin looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hodges tries to reverse the position but Krupin maintains control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fedor Krupin dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Krupin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hodges's guard. Fedor Krupin has got the better of the ground game so far. Krupin controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The adventures of Krupin the control monster continue. Boring. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Krupin uses his free foot to push down on Hodges's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hodges. Krupin controlling his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krupin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krupin is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hodges has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hodges! Krupin keeping moving, preventing Hodges from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krupin pulls Hodges in to control the position. Krupin has an active guard here but Hodges has managed to pass into half guard.
Krupin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Krupin makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Krupin. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fedor Krupin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Krupin shoots for a takedown but Hodges saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. As Krupin tries to get set, Hodges tries to push him back and clinch up but Krupin manages to avoid the attempt. Hodges fails with a takedown attempt. Jeff Hodges is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hodges has closed the distance and engaged Krupin in a clinch.
Krupin has Hodges pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hodges manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Hodges prevents the takedown attempt.
Jeff Hodges has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Krupin. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krupin is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hodges is defending well. Hodges tries for a takedown but Krupin manages to get underhooks.
Krupin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hodges avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Hodges lands a nice uppercut. Krupin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krupin wants to take the fight to the mat but Hodges manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Krupin drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hodges gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Hodges is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Krupin gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Hodges misses with a short punch on the inside. Krupin has Hodges pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hodges manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Krupin wants a takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hodges drops down looking for an ankle pick but Krupin pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hodges closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hodges lands in his opponent's guard. Hodges trying to control the position from guard on top but Krupin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Krupin working for a triangle but Hodges defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hodges is looking to work some ground and pound but Krupin has wrist control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Krupin can do anything to dispel that myth. Krupin is looking for a triangle here but Hodges uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Krupin can't do much from the bottom here. Krupin is trying to get back to half guard. Krupin is trying to work for a sweep but Hodges has mounted him!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Krupin is working to get back to half guard.
Krupin is still trying to improve position. Hodges manages to capitalize on a mistake by Krupin to take his back! Krupin wants to escape the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jeff Hodges has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fedor Krupin is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Hodges avoiding Krupin 's attempts to control his hands.
And that's the end of the fight! Jeff Hodges showed his dominance in that final round. I think Krupin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
