Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam McCullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javi Castillejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Javi Castillejo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam McCullen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Javi Castillejo! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCullen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Castillejo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Castillejo pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A punch lands to the side of Castillejo 's head but he takes it in his stride. Castillejo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. McCullen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Castillejo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. McCullen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. McCullen darts in trying to clinch and Castillejo counters with a nice double leg into side control. McCullen won't be happy with that. Castillejo cracks McCullen with a big elbow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McCullen is looking for a sweep. McCullen can't do much from the bottom here. McCullen is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCullen prevents Castillejo from improving position. Castillejo moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Castillejo tries to advance to mount but McCullen denies him. McCullen struggling a bit here. McCullen is being controlled here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McCullen is trying to get back to half guard. Check out the look on Castillejo's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Castillejo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Let's hope that Castillejo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCullen reaches up around Castillejo's neck trying to control. But Castillejo takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for McCullen! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! McCullen is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Castillejo celebrates the victory with the fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Javi Castillejo! Javi Castillejo decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
