Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hemfsford Jowars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hemfsford Jowars!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Colt!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colt uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Colt shoots in and bounces Jowars off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Jowars looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Colt slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Jowars will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Colt won't allow Jowars to get back to his feet.
Colt stays in close to Jowars's body and controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jowars really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Colt keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jowars's head.

We've been hearing good reports from Jowars's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Jowars gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Colt dips to his left and cracks Jowars with an uppercut!

Jowars closes the distance and clinches.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Colt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Colt uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jowars has time to react.
Jowars with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Colt to score with a decent uppercut.
Jowars needs to keep his hands up - Colt had a free shot at his head there.
Colt scores with a hook to the body. Jowars takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Colt lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Jowars rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Colt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Colt has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Colt connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Colt cracks Jowars with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Jowars takes one on the button.
Jowars fails with a takedown attempt.

Colt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Colt takes a little break here. Jowars wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jowars tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jowars is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Colt asserts his dominance and retains side control.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brian Colt dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Colt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Colt connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jowars. Jowars circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jowars tries to clinch but Colt moves out of range.
Jowars walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Colt lands with a hook. Jowars tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Jowars takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Colt thuds his right hand into Jowars's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Colt, as that shot connected.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jowars.
Colt connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jowars's hands.

Jowars clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Colt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jowars fails in his attempt to clinch.
Colt stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Colt connects with a jab.
Brian Colt seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jowars takes one on the button.

Colt gets a takedown into half guard.

Jowars kicks Colt off and gets back to his feet.
Colt has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Colt throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jowars on the side of the head.
Colt catches Jowars with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Colt slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Colt might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Jowars's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Colt connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jowars scrambles back to his feet.
Hemfsford Jowars is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

A decent looking cross lands there for Colt.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jowars. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Colt is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Jowars drops his hands momentarily and Colt takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

I've got Colt winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
