Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Neculai Costel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Hess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Costel comes into the arena with Ain't No Sunshine blaring out of the sound system. Neculai Costel has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Hess! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Costel scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Costel is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hess knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Costel takes a little break here. Hess wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Costel seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hess for as long as he can get away with.
