Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ezekyle Abaddon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan Bob has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ezekyle Abaddon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jordan Bob!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bob tries for a takedown but Abaddon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Bob has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bob tries for a takedown but Abaddon manages to get underhooks.
Ezekyle Abaddon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordan Bob.
Bob is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Abaddon lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Bob is looking for a sweep. Abaddon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bob really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Abaddon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bob is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bob is looking to control Abaddon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bob avoid being mounted?

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Abaddon buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Abaddon walks into a stiff left hand from Bob.
Bob doesn't manage to clinch there - Abaddon circles away.
Bob moves in looking to clinch but Abaddon pushes him off.

Bob decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bob connects with a nice short shot to Abaddon's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bob looks gassed!
Abaddon is pressing down on Bob's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Abaddon has control of Bob's left arm, preventing Bob from doing any damage.

Abaddon has his feet on Bob's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Bob is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Abaddon scores with a push kick.
Bob throws a combination. Abaddon tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Nice defenses there by Bob.
Bob changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Abaddon tries to avoid it but Bob manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Abaddon to the ground. Abaddon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bob shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Abaddon pinned against the cage. Abaddon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Abaddon gets a clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bob stops a takedown attempt from Abaddon.
Bob wants to break free but Abaddon has control.
Abaddon prevents Bob from breaking the clinch.
Abaddon drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Abaddon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bob looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Abaddon is fending him off so far but Bob persists. Nope, Abaddon circles away and we're back to standing.
A solid leg kick lands there for Abaddon.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ezekyle Abaddon will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Bob is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Abaddon.
Bob clinches but Abaddon breaks the clinch

and Abaddon counters by moving into the clinch.

Abaddon has picked Bob up - he's going for a ride! Abaddon dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bob can do anything to dispel that myth.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Abaddon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bob keeps working.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Abaddon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bob's guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Abaddon is controlling the pace.
Bob tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Bob is refusing to be controlled, as Abaddon sits in half guard.
Bob is looking for a sweep. Abaddon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Abaddon stops Bob from getting back to his feet.
Abaddon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bob keeps working.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Abaddon shoots in looking for a takedown. Bob tries to sprawl out of it but Abaddon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bob manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Abaddon counters with an outside leg kick.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bob shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bob showed some decent athleticism there.

Bob is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bob tries to pass the half guard into mount. Abaddon knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Bob is nestled in close to Abaddon, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ezekyle Abaddon will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Bob shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Abaddon as he avoids it easily.

Bob tries to keep at a distance but Abaddon has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bob jumps guard but Abaddon stands there with Bob around his waist. Bob gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ezekyle Abaddon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordan Bob.

Abaddon has clasped his hands together around Bob's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Bob wants to get back to his feet.
Bob is looking for a sweep.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Bob tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Abaddon presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Bob tries to control Abaddon's body but Abaddon pushes him off. Bob squirms to his side and now Abaddon has his back!
A lull in the action here.
Abaddon slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Bob turns into Abaddon and is now in his guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Abaddon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bob wants to control but Abaddon is keeping busy and won't allow it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Abaddon counters with an outside leg kick.

and Abaddon counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bob's knee momentarily.

Abaddon clinches up against the cage.

Bob is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Abaddon can't fight it off and eventually Bob manages to take the fight to the floor. Abaddon looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Abaddon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Ezekyle Abaddon showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Abaddon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
