Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dag Daghammar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janish Jasperdek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daghammar comes to the cage accompanied by Just like that - Dregen. Dag Daghammar has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dag Daghammar! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Janish Jasperdek! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jasperdek has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Daghammar finds it's way round the side to connect with Jasperdek's head. Jasperdek takes one on the button. Daghammar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jasperdek was well out of range. Poor timing from Daghammar. Jasperdek misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Daghammar pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jasperdek feints the counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jasperdek tries for a takedown but Daghammar circles away easily and Daghammar counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's one minute gone in the round. Daghammar throws a body shot but no joy. Jasperdek throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Daghammar's waist but Daghammar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jasperdek off to one side. Dag Daghammar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Janish Jasperdek. Daghammar uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Jasperdek closes this distance looking for a takedown but Daghammar circles away. Daghammar lands with a cross. We've been told by Daghammar's head coaches at A Hero's Journey: MMA Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Daghammar scores with a nice right hand.
Daghammar misses with a hook. Jasperdek ducked under it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jasperdek gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Daghammar scores with a counter punch that sends Jasperdek to the canvas! Daghammar smells blood - he's punishing Jasperdek with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Jasperdek has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dag Daghammar! Dag Daghammar retains his lightweight title! Dag Daghammar managed to slip a mention for his sponsors, Sin City Allstars, into his post fight interview.
