Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dazza Nicholson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicholson has chosen It's a hard knock life - remix as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dazza Nicholson! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nicholson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Escobar pinned against the cage. Escobar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. An inside leg kick lands from Escobar. Nicholson shoots in for a takedown but Escobar shows good takedown defense. Escobar shoots in and bounces Nicholson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Nicholson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Escobar dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Escobar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nicholson keeps working. Escobar working away.

Escobar has hold of one of Nicholson's legs. Nicholson is fighting the takedown attempt but Escobar gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Escobar wanted to stand there but Nicholson had control of the position. Escobar wants to control from the top but Nicholson keeps moving. Nicholson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Escobar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Nicholson can't keep his opponent in guard - Escobar advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nicholson is breathing heavily. Nicholson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Escobar regains guard immediately.

Nicholson wants to control from the top but Escobar keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nicholson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Nicholson cracks Escobar with a solid left hand. Nicholson tries to free his leg and advance position but Escobar is retaining full guard. Nicholson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Nicholson is still trying to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nicholson trying to control the position from guard on top but Escobar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

And that's the end of the fight! Dazza Nicholson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Escobar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today.
