Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Connor McGuinness! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Baybur! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baybur throws a jab but it's blocked by McGuinness. Baybur misses with a straight left. Baybur throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Baybur misses with a right hand and Baybur takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Justin Baybur has been cut. Baybur throws a poor cross that misses
and McGuinness counters with a nice body shot.
McGuinness drops his shoulder and cracks Baybur with a huge uppercut! Baybur goes down! Can McGuinness finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McGuinness connects with a couple of short punches. McGuinness lands a couple of elbows. McGuinness showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Baybur working for submissions but it's allowed McGuinness to get to half guard.

McGuinness is trying for a kimura here. Baybur looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! McGuinness wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Connor McGuinness! In his post fight interview, Connor McGuinness started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
