Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dempsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dempsey comes to the cage accompanied by Ten Crack Commandments . I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ron Gold was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold misses with a kick to the body.
Gold throws the kick towards the body but Dempsey avoids it.
Dempsey lands with a nice body punch.
Dempsey paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ron Gold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dempsey throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gold on the side of the head.
Dempsey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gold.

Dempsey ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Dempsey dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice body punch from Dempsey.

Dempsey lands a really nice looking cross but Gold seems unphased.

Dempsey works over Gold's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Ron Gold has been cut.
Gold looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Gold gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Dempsey.
Dempsey lands the left hand.
Gold is rocked!
Gold takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Gold is still on wobbly legs! Can Dempsey finish him?
Dempsey lands an uppercut, right on the button! Gold tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack Dempsey!
Jack Dempsey got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
