Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Tomasz Bajor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Vadim Markov! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Markov lands a nice shot that snaps Bajor's head back.
Markov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. No joy there for Markov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Markov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Markov takes a swing at Bajor's ribcage but misses. Bajor checks a leg kick. Bajor throws a low kick but Markov moves out of range easily. Markov looks to land a body kick but Bajor moved away. Markov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Bajor throws a right and a left that Markov avoids nicely. Danga de danga de dang - Markov scores with a four punch combination! Bajor clinches up with Markov and pushes him back against the cage. Markov is trying to force a seperation but Bajor has the dominant position. Bajor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bajor shoots in looking for a takedown. Markov tries to sprawl out of it but Bajor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Markov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bajor clinches up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bajor tries to score a body lock takedown but Markov shows good agility there to stay on his feet. A frustrated look appears on Markov's face as he tries to break the clinch. Bajor drops down looking for an ankle pick but Markov pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomasz Bajor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Markov throws a half hearted mid kick. Bajor shoots in for a double leg but Markov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bajor clinches up against the cage. Bajor has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Markov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Bajor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Markov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bajor trying to control the position from guard on top but Markov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bajor is breathing heavily. Markov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bajor is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bajor wants to control from the top but Markov keeps moving. Bajor stands up from Markov's guard - Bajor perhaps looking for a knockout. Markov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Horrible takedown attempt by Bajor or perhaps it was just good defense by Markov, which made it look bad. Markov misses with a few strikes there.
This has been an exciting period of action! Markov lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Bajor moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Vadim Markov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bajor takes the fight into the clinch. Bajor drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Markov can't break the clinch.
Bajor pulls guard. Bajor working for a triangle but Markov defends it easily.
Markov throws a big right hand that misses. Markov wanted to stand there but Bajor had control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bajor looking for a guillotine here but Markov defends easily.
Markov is looking to work some ground and pound but Bajor has wrist control. Markov throws a big elbow that misses. Markov throws a big right hand that misses. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Bajor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Markov is one step ahead there.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Bajor avoids a punch combination nicely.

Bajor changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Markov fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Markov connects with a body shot. Bajor fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Markov avoids it really well and circles away. Markov feints the counter takedown. Markov scores with a hook.
Bajor is rocked! Tomasz Bajor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Markov lands with a right and another and another! Bajor is in big trouble! Markov lands again and this time it's lights out for Bajor! A quality knockout there for Markov.
