The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wells doesn't manage to clinch there - Shank circles away.

Shank trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Shank throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Wells tries to stand but Shank is controlling from the bottom. Shank will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
