Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinn Raymond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Quinn Raymond! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alex Reynolds! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reynolds tries to keep at a distance but Raymond has taken the fight into the clinch. Raymond effectively controlling the action here. Raymond jumps guard.
Raymond is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Raymond is adopting a defensive guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Raymond is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Reynolds defends well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reynolds in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Reynolds trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raymond is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Raymond has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reynolds can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Reynolds throws a big elbow that misses. Reynolds throws a big right hand that misses. Reynolds drops back looking for a leg! Raymond is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Raymond manages to kick Reynolds off! Reynolds jumps back into Raymond's guard. Raymond throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Reynolds must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reynolds accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Reynolds passes into half guard. Raymond trying to control but Reynolds postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Raymond is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Reynolds is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Raymond regains full guard. Nicely done. Reynolds postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Raymond preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reynolds accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Raymond had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Reynolds defends it easily. Reynolds loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Reynolds postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Raymond is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Reynolds, into his guard. Reynolds is trying to control the position but Raymond postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reynolds is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Raymond would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Reynolds is working an open guard so Raymond takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Raymond has managed to clinch.
Reynolds has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Raymond after a bit of a struggle. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Raymond avoiding damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quinn Raymond dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Reynolds will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Raymond moves into the clinch. Raymond will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Reynolds up against the cage. A hook to the body from Raymond.

Raymond jumps guard and drags Reynolds to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Raymond is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Raymond wants to sweep here but Reynolds controlling him for the moment. Reynolds throwing strikes from guard but Raymond blocks nicely. Raymond is trying to control the position but Reynolds postures up. Reynolds drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reynolds jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Raymond is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Reynolds frees his head nicely. Oh but Raymond has switched to an armbar! Reynolds is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
