The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aanthgre gets caught napping as Rivera dives in and scores a takedown. Aanthgre manages to retain guard.
Rivera stands up and waves to Aanthgre to follow him.
Aanthgre has managed to clinch.
Aanthgre stops a takedown attempt from Rivera.
Rivera is trying to break the clinch but Aanthgre has him pressed against the cage.

Rivera is trying to maintain a safe position but Aanthgre gets an underhook and turns Rivera into the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rivera jumps guard but Aanthgre turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Aanthgre jerks Rivera's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Rivera drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Aanthgre goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Aanthgre because Rivera was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
