Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Barristan Cerrone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyron Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hendricks's choice of entrance music: I ain't turning back. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cerrone walks into a stiff left hand from Hendricks.
Tyron Hendricks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cerrone throws a series of strikes that have Hendricks backpedaling.

Hendricks has managed to clinch.

Hendricks gets control of Cerrone's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hendricks will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Hendricks is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cerrone defends well.
Hendricks pulls Cerrone in to control the position.
Cerrone tries to stand but Hendricks is controlling from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hendricks has Cerrone pulled in close to control his posture.
Cerrone working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Hendricks has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cerrone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cerrone got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hendricks has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cerrone has managed to get both his arms back between Hendricks's legs - danger averted.

Cerrone is posturing up here but Hendricks has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Cerrone tries to roll out but it's too tight and Cerrone has to tap! Slick submission there by Hendricks!

A relieved looking Tyron Hendricks thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
