Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tod Truck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ivan Watson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tod Truck! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Ron Honeybunn and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Truck throws a right and a left that Watson avoids nicely. Watson is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Truck. Truck gets in close and instigates a clinch. Watson can't find room to land a body shot as Truck controls the action.

Watson manages to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Truck advances position into side control! A lull in the action here as Truck stalls from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Truck lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watson is pushing Truck's head away, looking to escape. Truck manages to hold on to the position though. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Watson is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Truck tries to advance to mount but can't. Watson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Truck. The strikes coming from Truck are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Truck slows the pace down. Truck cracks Watson with a big right hand but Watson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ground and pound from Truck seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. The strikes coming from Truck are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Truck working the head with strikes. Truck throws an elbow but Watson slips to the side and avoids it well. Truck content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Truck's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Truck rushes Watson and presses him up against the cage. Watson with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Truck lands with a light punch inside.
It looks like Ivan Watson has been cut. Truck breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tod Truck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Truck misses with a combination
and Watson counters with a two punch combo. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Truck is defended easily by Watson. Watson appears to be looking for a big counter. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tod Truck dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ivan Watson's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Truck clinches up with Watson and pushes him back against the cage. Truck leaning his opponent against the cage. Truck escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Truck throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Truck throws a leg kick but Watson moved away. Ivan Watson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Watson misses with a wild combination.
Truck misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Truck lands with a right that hurts Watson. Watson looks to clinch but Truck throws a short knee that drops Watson. This one is all over!
