Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Korey Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Ochoa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mario Ochoa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Korey Vaughn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mario Ochoa! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vaughn misses with a takedown attempt and Ochoa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Vaughn wants to get back to his feet but Ochoa passes into half guard.
Ochoa content to control rather than advance. Vaughn is in trouble now - Ochoa has advanced to mount! Ochoa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Vaughn is trying desperately to improve position. Vaughn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ochoa on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ochoa with the ground and pound from mount. Vaughn tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ochoa controlling the position easily from mount. Vaughn is working to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ochoa sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Vaughn is trying to reverse the position but instead Ochoa has taken his back - oops! Ochoa lands a shot to the body.
Vaughn is rocked! I really don't envy Vaughn right now.
Oh Vaughn is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Ochoa is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Vaughn has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Ochoa has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Vaughn taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Ochoa doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mario Ochoa!
