Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohamed Khanidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Cieslak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mohamed Khanidov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mohamed Khanidov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Michal Cieslak! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cieslak tries to clinch there but Khanidov circles away.
Khanidov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Khanidov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Khanidov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Khanidov has gone for a leg lock! Cieslak slips out almost immediately though and dives into Khanidov's guard. Cieslak trying to stand up but can't free himself from Khanidov's guard. Khanidov has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cieslak is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Khanidov. Cieslak stands up and we're back to a striking position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Khanidov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cieslak darts in and clinches Khanidov up against the cage. Cieslak lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cieslak misses with the head strike.
A nice left hand lands by Cieslak.
Cieslak lands with a short head shot on the inside. Cieslak swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Cieslak scores with a shoulder strike. Khanidov tries for a takedown. No joy.
Cieslak throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Khanidovs head. Khanidov is breathing heavily. Cieslak misses with a short punch on the inside. Khanidov has Cieslak pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cieslak manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Khanidov fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mohamed Khanidov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cieslak scores with a shot to the side of Khanidov's head. Cieslak misses with a punch on the inside.
Khanidov fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Cieslak lands with a short head shot on the inside. Cieslak lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cieslak swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Cieslak lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khanidov tries to pull guard but Cieslak won't allow it.
Cieslak misses with a short punch on the inside. Cieslak lands a shoulder strike.
Khanidov is rocked! Cieslak pushes Khanidov against the cage. Cieslak is working some dirty boxing. Cieslak pushes off with a quick right hook! Khanidov goes down! Khanidov tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Cieslak moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michal Cieslak!
