Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Master Blaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Holbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Master Blaster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, William Holbert!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Blaster.
Master Blaster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holbert is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Blaster.
Blaster looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Blaster tries to clinch but Holbert moves out of range.
Holbert swinging wildly here.
Holbert throws a jab when Blaster was well out of range.
Holbert lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.


It looks like Master Blaster has been cut.

Holbert throws a lazy right hand but Blaster sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Blaster ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Blaster closes the distance and clinches.
Holbert stalling in the clinch.
Holbert is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Holbert pushes Blaster back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Holbert breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A nice inside leg kick there by Blaster. That's going to slow Holbert down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Blaster looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
The fighters circling - Blaster throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Holbert now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Both fighters circling a little - Blaster finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Holbert might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Blaster is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Holbert lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Blaster lands a nice looking kick to the body. Holbert takes a step back to recover.
Blaster throws a solid leg kick but Holbert takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Blaster.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Holbert! But no joy.

Blaster lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Blaster bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Blaster slips under a jab from Holbert.
Blaster takes a shot to the body in his stride.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Holbert checks a leg kick.
Blaster avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Holbert jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Holbert throws a jab but it's blocked by Blaster.
Blaster keeps Holbert at a distance using the push kick.
Blaster tries to land a front kick but Holbert steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Holbert misses with a series of wild punches.
Blaster looks to land a combination but Holbert avoids it well.
A nice leg kick lands there from Blaster.

enabling Blaster to counter with a crisp jab.
Blaster scores with a nice right hand.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Master Blaster's cut is getting worse.

Blaster closes the distance and clinches.
Blaster misses with some punches.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Blaster.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Master Blaster will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Master Blaster's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Holbert throws a hook but Blaster avoids it easily.
Blaster throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Holbert in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Holbert's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Holbert throws a series of strikes that have Blaster backpedaling.

Holbert has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Blaster.

Blaster digs a right hand underneath Holbert's ribcage. Holbert let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Blaster lands a left hand that snaps the head of Holbert backwards.

Holbert is pushing Blaster up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Holbert wants to break the clinch but can't.

Holbert's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Holbert is rocked!
Blaster lands a brutal uppercut that launches Holbert off his feet! Holbert tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Master Blaster!
Master Blaster gave a mention to Spartan Nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
