Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clifton Navarro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mason Stone has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Clifton Navarro's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifton Navarro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mason Stone!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone throws a push kick but Navarro slaps the foot to one side.
Stone displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.


It looks like Clifton Navarro has been cut.

Stone closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Navarro did well to prevent Stone getting side control.


Navarro is rocked!

Stone is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Oh Navarro is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Navarro avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Stone.
Navarro seems to have got his legs back now.
Navarro tries to get to full guard but Stone has control of the leg.
Stone is keen to just control but Navarro is a slippery customer.

and Navarro counters with a one-two to the body.

Stone moves into the clinch.

Navarro tries to break the clinch but Stone is controlling the position.

Stone wants the takedown. Navarro is fighting it off but Stone persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Navarro's guard against the cage.

Navarro pushes Stone off and gets back to his feet.

Navarro clinches up with Stone and pushes him back against the cage.

Stone has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Navarro uses from the top position.

Stone drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Navarro pushes Stone away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Stone gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Clifton Navarro will probably get the nod.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Stone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Navarro can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Stone takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Stone shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Navarro is trying to defend but Stone finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Navarro manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Stone keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Stone thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Navarro if he has to take too many more of those.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Clifton Navarro.
I think Navarro has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
