Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Photirat Mongkolchai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Mcgregor!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcgregor closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mongkolchai's guard.
Mcgregor trying to control the position from guard on top but Mongkolchai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mcgregor is working Mongkolchai over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Mcgregor landing some decent shots from guard.
Mcgregor has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mcgregor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mongkolchai keeping moving, preventing Mcgregor from controlling successfully.
Mongkolchai knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mcgregor on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mcgregor is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Mcgregor seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Mcgregor lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Mcgregor is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mongkolchai trying to keep a closed guard but Mcgregor is proving a slippery customer.
Mcgregor controls from within his opponent's guard.
Mongkolchai might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mongkolchai wants to stand and escape but Mcgregor is having none of it.

Mongkolchai wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Mcgregor's hips, looking to push off. But Mcgregor grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Mongkolchai screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Andrew Mcgregor!
A less than humble Andrew Mcgregor misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
