The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsui just misses with a punch to the body.
A good leg kick by Matsui.
Matsui throws a jab but it's blocked by Fitzpatrick.
Matsui connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Matsui gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Matsui.
Matsui tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fitzpatrick's elbow.
Fitzpatrick's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Fitzpatrick takes an elbow to the forehead.
A shot in the inside from Fitzpatrick.
Matsui creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Fitzpatrick's defenses.
Fitzpatrick looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Fitzpatrick scores with a nice hook to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A short body shot lands from Fitzpatrick as the two fighters clinch.

Fitzpatrick decides to pull guard.
Matsui has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Matsui is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Fitzpatrick has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Matsui is looking to defend but Fitzpatrick has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Matsui! Fitzpatrick pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Matsui taps out and this one is all over!
