Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lawerence Hooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiberius Belisarius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Lawerence Hooper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tiberius Belisarius! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hooper attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Hooper uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Belisarius.
Belisarius throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hooper tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Belisarius is in Hooper's guard. Hooper wants to stand but Belisarius is controlling the position. Hooper looking to hit a scissor sweep but Belisarius is one step ahead there. Hooper not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hooper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Belisarius on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belisarius wants to control from the top but Hooper keeps moving. Belisarius wants to get up but he can't break Hooper's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hooper tries to land a sweep but no joy. Belisarius thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Belisarius trying to control but Hooper is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Belisarius wanted to stand there but Hooper had control of the position. Hooper could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Hooper throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Belisarius shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Belisarius is looking for a kimura here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Belisarius prevents Hooper from improving his position. Belisarius is trying to control. Hooper wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Belisarius is pressing down on Hooper's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hooper is holding on for now. Hooper blocking the ground and pound attempt from Belisarius.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hooper trying to control but Belisarius postures up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Belisarius content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Belisarius uses his free foot to push down on Hooper's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hooper. Belisarius fails to take his opponent's back. Belisarius is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A looping hook to the body misses from Belisarius. Hooper does a little dance to reset his feet. Belisarius drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Hooper wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Belisarius manages to pass to side control. Hooper trying to control but Belisarius postures up.
Belisarius trying to control the action but Hooper is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Belisarius is thwarting Hooper's attempts to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tiberius Belisarius dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hooper shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hooper showed some decent athleticism there. Belisarius has one foot on Hooper's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Belisarius ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hooper moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head kick misses from Hooper. Despite the aggression on Belisarius's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Hooper closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hooper lands in his opponent's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Belisarius is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hooper frees his head nicely. Oh but Belisarius has switched to an armbar! Hooper is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
