Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rob Koi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koi comes to the cage accompanied by Cross Out the Eyes. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Koi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vincent Chase !
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koi avoids the head kick by Chase .

Chase drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Chase looking to sit in guard and control but Koi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Koi trying to control the position from guard on top but Chase is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Koi passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Koi is tying to control. Chase wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Koi is looking to advance position but Chase won't allow it.

Chase is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Koi pulls his head out easily.
Koi is pressing down on Chase 's thigh, looking to free his foot. Chase is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Koi passes to full mount!

Chase is working to get back to half guard.
Koi takes Chase 's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Chase is in trouble.
Chase looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Chase trying to get back to his feet but Koi is in full control for now.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Koi controlling well, preventing Chase from escaping the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Chase breaks Koi's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Koi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Chase postures up in Koi's guard and throws a big left but Koi blocks it.
Chase looks gassed!
Chase wants to stand but Koi has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Chase wants to control from the top but Koi keeps moving.
Koi looking for a sweep. Not yet Koi, not yet.

Koi wants to stand and escape but Chase is having none of it.
Koi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chase is one step ahead there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Koi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Chase counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Koi wants to sweep but no luck.
Chase trying to control the position from guard on top but Koi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Koi wants to stand but Chase is controlling the position.
Chase lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Chase controls from within his opponent's guard.
Koi wants to control the position but Chase says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Chase missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Koi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Well, if Chase is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Koi manages to get to full guard.
Chase postures up in Koi's guard and throws a big left but Koi blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vincent Chase dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Chase pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Chase throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Koi doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Chase counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Koi!
Koi keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Chase is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Koi is surviving well by controlling Chase 's body position as best he can.

Chase has hold of Koi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Koi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Chase goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Koi is on top in guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Koi wants to control from the top but Chase keeps moving.

Chase is looking for a triangle but Koi pushes his legs off easily.

Chase looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Chase is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Chase is trying to control the position from the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Chase has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Koi off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Koi shoots and misses

and Chase counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Chase postures up.

Chase drops back, looking for a kneebar! Koi looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Koi looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Koi!
Chase tries to buck Koi off but Koi is having none of it.
Chase manages to get back to half guard.

Chase is squirming around, avoiding Koi's attempts to control the action.
Chase is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Koi fails to move to back control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Chase tries to hold on but Koi pushes him away.
Koi wants to stand but Chase is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Chase is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Koi prevents Chase from getting the reversal.
Koi trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Chase really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Koi is looking to stand but Koi has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Chase keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Chase looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vincent Chase showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Koi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!


Koi shoots and misses

and Chase counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Koi's guard now.
Koi is trying to keep Chase in close.

Chase is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Chase landing some decent shots from guard.
Koi trying to keep a closed guard but Chase is proving a slippery customer.
Koi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chase is one step ahead there.
Chase sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Chase stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Koi misses with a takedown

and Chase counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Koi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Chase missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Chase trying to control but Koi is working from the bottom.
Rob Koi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Chase throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Koi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Koi wants to sweep here but Chase controlling him for the moment.
Chase pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Koi is keeping the position for now.

Koi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chase can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chase accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chase wants to pass the guard but Koi is keeping the position.

Chase is looking to advance position but Koi has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Chase tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Chase is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Chase really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Chase is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Koi lands a big shot there that rocks Chase but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Chase flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Chase is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Koi jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Chase is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Chase and Koi has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

You can see the frustration on Chase 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Well Chase has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
