Frost comes to the cage accompanied by enter sandman by metallica. Lindgren has chosen Come With Me as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
34 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pegg Frost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mikael Lindgren! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frost is looking to clinch. Frost tries to clinch up. Lindgren connects with a nice looking jab.
Lindgren swings for the body but Frost moves out of range.
Mikael Lindgren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lindgren lunges at Frost with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Frost's hand. Frost throws a head kick but Lindgren moves out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lindgren. Lindgren walks into a stiff left hand from Frost.
It looks like Mikael Lindgren has been cut. Lindgren drives through with a takedown into guard. Frost looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Lindgren with a flurry of punches that miss. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lindgren postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lindgren accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Frost is adopting a defensive guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A looping hook to the body misses from Lindgren. Frost does a little dance to reset his feet. Lindgren's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lindgren duly obliges. Frost throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lindgren feints the counter takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lindgren is looking to land body kicks. Frost clinches up with Lindgren and pushes him back against the cage. Frost lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Lindgren looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Frost prevents a body shot from Lindgren. Frost gets through Lindgren's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Lindgren lands a shoulder strike. Frost pushes off an throws an elbow but Lindgren leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Lindgren wants the takedown. Frost is fighting it off but Lindgren persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Frost's guard against the cage. Lindgren distracts Frost with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Frost keeping full guard, as Lindgren tries to pass. Lindgren has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Frost not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lindgren drops back looking for a leg! Frost is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Frost manages to kick Lindgren off! Lindgren jumps back into Frost's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Frost avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lindgren throwing strikes from guard but Frost blocks nicely. Lindgren throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lindgren postures up and lands a big shot to Frost's brow. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lindgren preventing the sweep. Lindgren is working Frost over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Frost tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lindgren won't allow Frost to get back to his feet. Lindgren with a flurry of punches that miss. Frost is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Lindgren works a leg free and moves into half guard. Lindgren wants to pass the guard but Frost is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mikael Lindgren dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mikael Lindgren's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Lindgren throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lindgren lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Lindgren connects with a crisp jab. Lindgren keeps the fight on the outside. Frost takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Frost tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lindgren manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Lindgren tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Frost uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lindgren. Frost instigates a clinch. Lindgren is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Frost to keep the fight standing. Lindgren takes a knee right on the jaw!
Lindgren has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Lindgren working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Frost takes a shot to the head.
Frost is rocked! Lindgren breaks from the clinch.
Oh Frost is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Lindgren has cracked Frost with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Lindgren lands another huge swinging hook and Frost tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Frost, before Lindgren can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mikael Lindgren! Mikael Lindgren bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
