Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wade Snipes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heath Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heath Hawk is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Heath Hawk!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawk moves into range and clinches up with Snipes.
Hawk misses with a knee strike.
Hawk scores with a knee to the head.
Hawk lands a good knee to the midsection. Snipes won't want to take too many of those.
Snipes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hawk just stands there and leans against the cage.
Snipes jumps guard but Hawk stands there with Snipes around his waist. Snipes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Snipes tries to pull guard but Hawk won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wade Snipes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Snipes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Oh Snipes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hawk controlling the action here for a moment.
Hawk receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
Hawk has Snipes pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Snipes is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Hawk - that's hurt Snipes badly! Oh, another knee lands and Snipes is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Snipes doesn't seem to be complaining.
