Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gustav Ragnarson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chet Lamare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamare has chosen Opeth as his entrance music. Chet Lamare will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnarson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lamare counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Gustav Ragnarson has been cut.
Ragnarson shoots in but Lamare avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lamare tries to counter with a clinch but Ragnarson shakes him off and moves away.
Ragnarson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lamare counters with a series of strikes. Ragnarson will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gustav Ragnarson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ragnarson darts in looking for a takedown but Lamare gets double underhooks and turns Ragnarson into the cage.
Ragnarson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lamare on his heels. He'll look to pass Lamare's guard now, I'm sure.

Ragnarson shoots in for a takedown but Lamare shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

A relieved looking Chet Lamare thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
