Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Radar Salter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dylan McKay! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salter ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. McKay bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A swing and a miss from Salter. Salter misses with a hook. McKay looks like he wants to counter punch here. Salter throws an off balance right hand
and McKay counters with a nice uppercut. Salter takes one to the chin there. McKay throws an overhand right that lands on Salter's shoulder, as Salter tries to avoid the shot. Salter takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Salter feinted there with a counter leg kick. Salter avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Salter keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McKay. Salter throws a right hand that misses
and McKay counters with a leg kick. We've been told by Salter's head coaches at The House of Tito that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. A big left from Salter misses. McKay steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. McKay throws out a token jab with nothing on it. The fighters circle momentarily. Salter darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Salter scores with a nice head shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Salter throws a hook but McKay blocks it. Salter missing with a left hand there. McKay was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. McKay let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Salter avoids the body shot from McKay.

Salter misses with a wild body shot. Salter connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Salter scores with the left hand. McKay knows he should have avoided that one. Salter swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. McKay gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Salter misses with an uppercut. McKay saw that one coming. Salter lands with a straight right. McKay didn't see that one coming. McKay on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Salter throws a head kick that misses. Salter throws a right hand that misses
and McKay counters with a nice leg kick. Salter scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Salter rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting McKay counter with a right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Salter missing with a left hand there. McKay was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. McKay takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Salter throws a hook but McKay avoids it easily. McKay ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McKay wants to slow Salter down by chopping away at his legs. McKay staying out of range there. McKay ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Salter moves away. Salter looks to land a combination but McKay avoids it well. Salter ducks under a wild hook from McKay. McKay staying out of range there. McKay throws out a loose jab but Salter uses good head movement to avoid it. Salter throwing a counter right hand but McKay manages to avoid it. Salter throws a hook but McKay blocks it. Radar Salter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Salter lands a jab to the head.
Salter misses with a looping left. McKay feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Salters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Salter throws a looping overhand right but McKay ducks down to avoid it. A jab from Salter misses. McKay avoids a punch combination nicely.
Salter connects with a right hand. McKay shakes it off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salter misses with a hook
and McKay counters with a left to the body. McKay lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Salter misses with a right hand and McKay counters with a nice leg kick. McKay throws a wild combination but nothing lands. McKay is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Salter. Salter is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Salter lands a body shot.

Salter misses with a straight left. McKay defending well as Salter loads up on a big left hand. Salter backing away here, and McKay unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Salter buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
McKay wants to clinch up but Salter keeps it at a distance. McKay fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Salter on the side of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McKay throws a shot from downtown. Salter moves away and avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McKay gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Salter. Salter misses with an uppercut
and McKay cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. McKay lands a nice leg kick that just misses Salter's sensitive parts. Salter lands with a cross. Salter throws a poor cross that misses
and McKay makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Salter loads up on a big right hand but McKay slips the punch. Salter is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. McKay misses with a wild body shot. McKay clinches with his opponent.
Salter's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! McKay pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Salter throws a jab but it's blocked by McKay. Salter connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McKay momentarily.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. McKay throws out a loose jab but Salter uses good head movement to avoid it. McKay throws a solid leg kick but Salter takes the impact on his shin and smiles at McKay. Salter misses the body punch and McKay counters with a straight right hand. Salter misses with a body shot
and McKay cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Radar Salter will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McKay misses with a looping right. Salter throws out a loose jab but McKay uses good head movement to avoid it. Salter throws a good cross that connects.

That's one minute gone in the round. McKay lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Nice defenses there by McKay. McKay slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Salter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McKay manages to avoid it. Salter misses the shot to the body. McKay lands a big right hand that sends Salter crashing to the mat! McKay stays standing though and waves Salter back to his feet!
Salter is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Salter throws a jab but it's blocked by McKay. Oh Salter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Salter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McKay.
McKay slips a jab from Salter. Salter lands the left hand. Salter seems to have got his legs back now. McKay shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. McKay blocks a jab. Salter thows a left - swing and a miss! Salter misses with a body shot.
McKay unleashes a big counter combination but Salter bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Salter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. McKay keeps Salter at a distance using the push kick. Salter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McKay has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salter misses with a looping left. McKay on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. McKay uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Salter.

and McKay counters with a straight right hand. Salter looks up at the clock. Bad move! McKay lands a right hand from hell, dropping Salter. McKay pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
