Santos misses with a looping left.

Santos ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Santos misses with a few strikes there.
Kosaryov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Santos checks a leg kick.
Santos tries to clinch but Kosaryov moves out of range.
Santos wants to clinch up but Kosaryov keeps it at a distance.
Kosaryov was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Kosaryov throws out a powerful jab.

Santos is rocked!
Santos walks straight into a right hand from Kosaryov - that's dropped him! Kosaryov jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Santos from any more punishment! Santos complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Rostislav Kosaryov!
Rostislav Kosaryov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
