Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nate Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Gledhill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nate Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Karl Gledhill! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gledhill quickly recovers to half guard. Diaz is thwarting Gledhill's attempts to control the position. Gledhill won't allow Diaz to pass to mount. Diaz passes into side control, despite Gledhill's attempt to control the position.
Diaz trying to control the position but Gledhill is working away. Diaz in side control, just content to control the action for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Gledhill's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gledhill is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gledhill pushes Diaz away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Diaz gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Diaz trying to control the action but Gledhill is working from the bottom. Gledhill manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Gledhill keeping control of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Diaz is pressing down on Gledhill's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gledhill is holding on for now. Gledhill is looking to get back to full guard here but Diaz has managed to pass to side control instead. Gledhill being controlled for a moment. Diaz has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gledhill!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gledhill stops Diaz from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Diaz content just to control the position here. Diaz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Diaz is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gledhill keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gledhill moves forwards but Diaz connects with a nice, crisp jab. Gledhill moves into the clinch. Diaz is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Gledhill to keep the fight standing. Gledhill escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Diaz fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Gledhill with the counter takedown but Diaz avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nate Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight moves into the clinch position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Diaz fails to pull guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nate Diaz dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Gledhill shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gledhill was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Gledhill trying to control the position but Diaz is working away. Diaz manages to work his way to half guard, despite Gledhill's best efforts. Gledhill is thwarting Diaz's attempts to control the position. Diaz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Diaz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gledhill trying to pass the guard but Diaz defending well. Diaz is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz is pressing down on Gledhill's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Gledhill throwing strikes but missing. Gledhill pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Diaz is keeping the position for now. Gledhill trying to stand up but can't free himself from Diaz's guard. Gledhill postures up and lands a big shot to Diaz's brow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Gledhill being controlled here momentarily. Diaz is trying to keep Gledhill in close.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gledhill swats him away and circles back towards the center. Diaz shoots in for a takedown but Gledhill shows good takedown defense. Gledhill takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Diaz's corner calls for a 1-2. Diaz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Diaz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Gledhill will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gledhill is defended easily by Diaz.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz clinches up with Gledhill and pushes him back against the cage. Diaz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Diaz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Diaz wants to sweep but no luck. Diaz trying to control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz seems keen to control Gledhill's posture. Gledhill trying to control the position from guard on top but Diaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gledhill stands and steps away. Diaz gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gledhill shoots in but Diaz avoids the takedown attempt easily. Gledhill checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Diaz wants to sweep but no luck. Diaz is pulling down on Gledhill's head. It's preventing any offense from Gledhill, at least for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gledhill controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Gledhill shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Diaz as he jumps to the side. Diaz appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Nate Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gledhill keeps the fight on the outside. Diaz misses with a takedown attempt - Gledhill sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Gledhill shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Diaz but Diaz pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nate Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karl Gledhill. Diaz feints and as Gledhill raises his hands in defense, Diaz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Diaz not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Gledhill looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gledhill throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Diaz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Diaz won't allow Gledhill to sweep him here. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gledhill swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gledhill tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Diaz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Diaz passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Gledhill! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gledhill wants to hold on but Diaz pushes him away. Karl Gledhill has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nate Diaz is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Diaz gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
And that's the end of the fight! Nate Diaz showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Diaz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
