Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
34 - 23 - 1, fighting out of London, Bam Margera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Borys Laskowski! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Laskowski misses its intended target. Laskowski looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Margera goes for a double leg but Laskowski avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Laskowski continues to drive forward. Laskowski takes a body punch but keeps moving. Margera shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Margera throws a right hand that Laskowski ducks under and follows up with a left that Laskowski also avoids with ease. Laskowski wants to clinch but Margera slips to the side and Margera counters with a nice body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Laskowski lands a leg kick that knocks Margera off balance momentarily. Margera lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Borys Laskowski has been cut. Margera's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Margera duly obliges. This has been an exciting period of action! Laskowski misses with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Laskowski darts in trying to clinch and Margera counters with a one-two to the body. Laskowski looks to land a combination but Margera avoids it well. Laskowski misses with an uppercut
and Margera counters with a thumping low kick. Margera shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Laskowski scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Margera manages to mount him!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Laskowski can do anything to dispel that myth. Laskowski tries to hold on but Margera pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Laskowski is working to get back to half guard.
Margera quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Margera but it's paid off an Laskowski is forced to tap! Nice work by Margera.
