The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogelio throws a lazy head kick

and Bonner counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Rogelio has Bonner pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Rogelio pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bonner tumbling to the mat - Rogelio dives into Bonner's guard.

Bonner manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Bonner swats away the attempt to clinch by Rogelio.
Bonner seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
A good leg kick by Rogelio.

Rogelio shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bonner manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Bonner manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Bonner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rogelio doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Bonner is tightening it up a little... Rogelio has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Rogelio reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Rogelio taps out! Nice BJJ there by Bonner!
